When to have your eyes checked
Glaucoma is common in Ghana and often has no early symptoms. Regular checks protect sight that cannot be restored once it is lost.
Book an eye examination- Blurred or cloudy vision at distance or when reading
- Frequent headaches after reading or screen work
- Red, itchy, watery or painful eyes that do not settle
- Halos or glare around lights at night
- A child who squints, sits close to the TV or struggles with the board

Many children do not know that what they see is blurred. We screen vision gently, check how both eyes work together, and prescribe spectacles when they are needed, so your child can read, play and learn with confidence.
